Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, a passion for test automation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our products by developing and maintaining robust automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities
- • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
- • Perform automated testing to identify defects, ensure product quality, and meet customer expectations.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to fully understand requirements and provide actionable feedback on functionality, design, and user experience.
- • Identify, document, and track defects/issues using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- • Handle escalated support tickets, ensuring that more complex technical issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
- • Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure the stability, reliability, and usability of applications.
- • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the testability of the code, as well as overall quality standards.
- • Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the QA industry, ensuring the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
- • Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management, contributing to team success and product quality.
Qualifications:
- • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software quality assurance practices and methodologies
- • At least 6 months experience in automated testing tools Selenium/Cypress/Playwrite.
- • Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- • Ability to work onsite in BGC, Taguig, with a midshift schedule.
- • A passion for delivering high-quality software and improving testing processes.
